What is Ekadem?

Ekadem is a place to study, make lessons, answer assignments, share class work and get feedback. Some tools use AI. If your school gives you access, the school decides why Ekadem is used and which teachers and students belong in your class.

What can be saved?

Your name or school account, class, lessons, files, answers, scores, feedback, comments and progress can be saved. If you choose a voice, image, drawing or AI tool, that content is processed for that feature. We also keep limited device, sign-in and security information so the service works safely. Ekadem does not ask your school to enter your exact birthday or keep a separate age-band record about you.

Who can see it?

You, the teachers and school staff allowed into your class, and the companies needed to run Ekadem may see the relevant information. Those service companies have rules about what they may do. We do not sell your school data, put ads in your school account, or use your schoolwork to train a general-purpose AI model.

What about AI?

AI may help create explanations, questions, speech, transcripts, feedback or a progress suggestion for your teacher. For a new school class, AI scoring is usually on by default after the school’s checks, but the school can turn it off. It can make mistakes or be unfair because it may be wrong, incomplete or biased. A teacher—not AI—must review the work and make important decisions such as a final grade, discipline or placement. You can ask a teacher to explain, correct or disregard an AI suggestion.

How long is it kept?

Your school chooses how long school records are needed. Deleted classes usually have a short 30-day recovery window; schoolwork is normally removed after the school year and an agreed closing period. Temporary AI copies are much shorter. Backups disappear on their own cycle. Ask your school for its exact schedule.

Your choices

You or your parent can ask the school to show, correct, download or delete information, when the law allows. The school may need to keep a record such as a grade. You can also contact privacy@ekadem.com; we will work with the school so we do not give a student record to the wrong person.

If something feels wrong

Tell a teacher or trusted adult. For privacy, email privacy@ekadem.com. For a security problem, email security@ekadem.com. You will not lose access just for asking a privacy question.

Adults can read the full Privacy Notice and the school’s own notice for the legal detail.
