Frequently asked questions

Is the podcast generator free?

Podcasts come with Ekadem Plus. With a free account you can try the other AI study tools first, and upgrade when you want to start listening.

What is an AI podcast generator?

A tool that turns your study material into an audio episode. Ekadem writes a conversation between two hosts about your topic and gives each of them a voice, so you can learn by listening.

How do I make a podcast with AI?

Upload your notes, a PDF or your slides, or just name a topic, and Ekadem builds a course from it. Open Podcast in the course, say what it should focus on, and your episode is ready in a minute or two.

Can I turn a PDF into a podcast?

Yes. Upload the PDF and the hosts talk through what’s in it. The same works for Word documents, PowerPoint slides, plain text, screenshots and photos of your notes. You can also skip the upload and just describe the topic.

How long is a podcast?

About ten minutes. Long enough to cover the topic properly, short enough for the bus ride to school.

What does it sound like?

Like two people talking, not a lecture read out loud. One host leads the conversation and the other adds depth and examples, with natural reactions and the odd joke along the way.

Can I choose what the podcast covers?

Yes. Before it’s made, tell Ekadem what to focus on: the key concepts in simple terms, practical examples, an exam prep summary or anything you type yourself.

Is there a transcript?

Yes. Open the transcript in the player to read along, or to find the part you want to hear again.

Can I change the playback speed?

Yes. Listen at anything from 0.75x to 2x, and skip back 10 seconds or ahead 30.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. Ekadem runs in the browser on phones, tablets and laptops, with nothing to install. Put your headphones in and revise on the way to school.

Do you train AI on my notes?

No. Your material isn’t used to train AI models, we don’t sell personal information and there are no ads. AI can still make mistakes, so check anything that’s going into an exam. The AI Transparency Notice has the details.
